Why we built SpeakRush
Millions of people study English for years — vocabulary lists, grammar apps, textbooks, courses — and still freeze the moment they have to open their mouth in front of a real person. The knowledge is there. The speaking isn't.
The reason isn't lack of vocabulary. It's the fear of performing. When you're focused on "am I saying this correctly?", the words stop coming.
SpeakRush was built on one insight: if you give someone a mission, they stop thinking about their English and start thinking about the game. Secret Word. Speed Debate. Forbidden Words. Each mode hides the pressure behind a task — and you end up speaking far more naturally than you ever would in a lesson.
What makes it different
Real people, not AI chatbots
Every room has 2–4 real learners. The social dynamic is what creates real fluency — you can't simulate that.
Games, not conversation practice
Structured game missions eliminate the "what do I say next?" paralysis that kills free conversation.
AI feedback, not AI partners
After each round, an AI speech coach breaks down your fluency, vocabulary, and grammar with specific, actionable notes.
IELTS-ready
Hot Seat and IELTS Simulator mirror the Speaking exam format — Part 2 monologues, Part 3 abstract questions — with real people asking the questions.
Who it's for
SpeakRush is for A2–C1 learners who already know English but don't yet speak it with confidence. It's not a course — it's the practice ground you use after the course. If you've been studying for months (or years) and still feel nervous in real conversations, SpeakRush is where you fix that.
